Svea Eckert profileSvea Eckert is an award-winning investigative journalist known for her work on ARD programs such as Tagesschau and Tagesthemen, and as a digital expert on ARD’s Morgenmagazin. She specialises in uncovering tech scandals, privacy issues, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), deepfakes, and propaganda. Additionally, she moderates events, delivers keynote speeches, and hosts three successful tech podcasts. Her investigative work has been recognsed with several prestigious awards, including the German Journalist Award and the Helmut Schmidt Prize. She is currently a Mercator Fellow at the Leibniz Institute for Media Research (HBI), where she is conducting research on journalism and AI.
