Professor Piers Forster is a professor of climate physics at the University of Leeds, the founding Director of the Priestley International Centre for Climate and PI for the CONSTRAIN project. He established the United Bank of Carbon charity, and advises industry and government through membership of the Rolls Royce Environment Advisory Board and the UK Committee on Climate Change. Professor Forster played a significant role authoring Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) reports and currently has a coordinating lead author role for the IPCC sixth assessment report.
