Nicole Grobert profileProf Dr Nicole Grobert is a German-British materials chemist. She is Professor of Nanomaterials and Associate Head of Department (Research) at the Department of Materials at the University of Oxford, UK. She is a Royal Society Industry Fellow at Williams Advanced Engineering, Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford and visiting professor at the Bio-Nano Electronics Research Centre at Tokyo University, Japan.

Moreover, from 2018 until 2025 she has been one of seven Chief Scientific Advisors of the Group of the Chief Scientific Advisors to the European Commission, GCSA. In November 2020 she was nominated as the Chair of the Group until 2025.
