Francisca Vargas Lopes is a Health Policy Researcher working on mental health related projects at the Health Division of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD). She is also an Assistant Professor at the Health Economics section of the Erasmus School of Health Policy & Management in Rotterdam (the Netherlands).
A pharmacist by background, Francisca has a MSc in International Health Policy and Health Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science and obtained her PhD from Erasmus University Rotterdam, on the topic of mental health and inequalities. By combining policy and academic activities professionally, Francisca strives to achieve maximum societal impact through evidence generation.
