Carolina Peñalva Lapuente is the project coordinator of the Horizon 2020 funded SISTERS project (Systemic Innovations for a Sustainable Reduction of the European Food Wastage).
Carolina has a PhD in Food Science and Technology and a master’s in environmental management. She works on R&D sustainability projects for the Aitiip Centro Tecnológico in Zaragoza, Spain, which promotes the development of innovations and technology, linking university research with industry.
