Bjørn Bedsted is the International Director at Democracy x (formerly the Danish Board of Technology) in Denmark. He has designed and coordinated citizen participation methods for municipalities, countries, the EU, and the UN.

He has 25 years of experience with participatory technology assessment and science advice; responsible research and innovation; and public engagement, particularly citizen participation. He is the Global Coordinator of World Wide Views and co-designer of the Conference on the Future of Europe and the European Citizens Panels.
