Petro Terblanche is Managing Director at Afrigen Biologics and Professor at North-West University in South Africa. She holds a B.Sc. degree in Botany and Zoology from the University of Pretoria and a MSc. and D.Sc. in Medical Oncology from the same institution. She has post-doctoral training in environmental health management from Harvard University. Prof. Terblanche has authored more than 200 publications and conference papers. She was recently acknowledged as one of the legends of science by the Academy of Sciences South Africa.
