Scientist: Lara Clements

Lara Clements is Associate Director for Public Engagement and Campaigns at Wellcome, focused on involving more people in Wellcome’s mission. Public engagement helps people trust, use and inform the research that Wellcome funds, and the way science improves health. Prior to this role, Lara has led a variety of campaigns and engagement programmes across health, environment and science.
