Scientist: Ed Pertwee

Dr Ed Pertwee is a Research Fellow of the Vaccine Confidence Project (VCP) of the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He joined the VCP as a Research Fellow in 2020, having previously been a Postdoctoral Fellow at the London School of Economics. Ed works at the intersection of political sociology, digital sociology and health sociology, combining qualitative research methods with analysis of digital ‘big data’ to investigate how movements promoting reactionary politics and anti-science mobilise both online and offline.
