Dr Cristina Luís holds a PhD in Biology from the University of Lisbon. She develops her scientific activity in the areas of history of citizen science, science communication and history of horse domestication, having coordinated and participated in numerous research and promotion of scientific culture projects. She is the author of several scientific publications in international journals, books and book chapters, and promotes the dissemination of science and natural heritage. She is an integrated member of the Interuniversity Center for the History of Science and Technology (CIUHCT), and assistant researcher at the Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon, where she is also a professor in the area of science communication.
