Angela Sara Cacciapuoti profileAngela Sara Cacciapuoti is co-founder of the Quantum Internet Research Group at the University of Naples Federico II (Italy) and Principal Investigator of the ERC Consolidator Grant QNattyNet (“Quantum Native Communication Networks: from Quantum Message to Quantum Functioning”).

Her research focuses on the design of architectures and protocols for the Quantum Internet.
She has received major recognitions including the IEEE ComSoc Award for Advances in Communication (2024), the WICE Outstanding Achievement Award (2022), and N2Women: Stars in Networking and Communications (2021). She serves as Area Editor for IEEE Transactions on Communications and as Senior Editor for the IEEE JSAC Quantum Series. She is a former IEEE ComSoc Distinguished Lecturer with lecture topics on the Quantum Internet design and Quantum Communications.
