Scientist: Alexis Lion

Alexis Lion profileDr. Alexis Lion achieved his PhD in Life and Health Sciences at the Université Henri Poincaré (Nancy, France). Physical activity promotion is his current and main research area.

Dr. Lion is chair-elect of HEPA (European network for the promotion of Health-Enhancing Physical Activity). He is an active member of the HEPA Promotion in Healthcare settings Working Group of the HEPA Europe network.

Dr. Lion is currently also the director of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Groupes Sportifs pour Cardiaques, which organises the outpatient phase 3 cardiac rehabilitation, and the Fédération Luxembourgeoise des Associations de Sport de Santé, which regroups the non-profit organisations offering physical activities for people with chronic diseases in Luxembourg.
