Aleksander Väljamäe received his PhD in at Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden, in 2007 and is currently a Seconded National Expert at Scientific Foresight Unit (STOA) at European Parliament from University of Tartu, Estonia. His research address multi sensory media influence on cognitive and emotional levels, with a particular stress on well-being and neuro technology new applications (brain computer interfaces, neuro theatre, neuro security). He actively participates in art-science projects, being also an artist in residence at European Commission (DG JRC). He authored over 35 journal articles and book chapters.
