Former journalist for the Italian news agency ANSA, Amalia Verzola is a blogger, writer and lecturer. Her areas of expertise are science communication, science and society, citizen science and participatory research, social innovation, migration and urban development. During her PhD she studied populism as well as the interrelations between media and public opinion. She works as a communications and European project management consultant all over Europe.
