Svetla Tanova
EPRS Communication Team Coordinator
In 2018, Svetla set up the ESMH under STOA in the EPRS. Before joining the EPRS, she worked for 10 years in the European Parliament’s DG for Communication. She has a journalist background.
Diandra Vaniglioli
ESMH Team Lead
Diandra joined the ESMH in 2024. She organises the ESMH Summer School. Previously, she worked at the European Commission (JRC) in the fields of science-for-policy and international cooperation in R&I. She holds a master’s degree in Public Relations.
Carolien Nijenhuis
Communication Officer
Before joining the ESMH in 2021, Carolien worked at the European Commission (ICT for Health and Ageing), the German embassy, and the Belgian medical journal ‘Artsenkrant’. She studied German literature, Philosophy and Journalism.
Marta Peiró Trapero
Communication Assistant
Marta joined the ESHM in 2025. Previously, she worked at the European Parliament as an Accredited Parliamentary Assistant, focusing on R&I and gender equality. She holds a degree in Journalism and a master’s degree in EU Studies.
