Raffael Kalisch

Raffael Kalisch Raffael Kalisch, PhD, is a professor for Human Neuroimaging and head of the Neuroimaging Center (NIC) at the Johannes Gutenberg University Medical Center, Mainz, Germany, and a group leader at the Leibniz Institute for Resilience Research, Mainz (LIR). He studied Human Biology at the University of Marburg and obtained his PhD in Biology at Ludwig Maximilian University, Munich. Research stations include Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris, Max Planck Institute for Psychiatry, Munich, University College London, and University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf. He currently coordinates the EU Horizon 2020 project DynaMORE and is involved in the EU H2020 project RESPOND, focusing on mental health and resilience in pandemics. He is founding spokesperson of the International Resilience Alliance intresa and main organizer of the annual International Symposium on Resilience Research.
