Michel Goldman

Michel Goldman Michel Goldman, MD, PhD, is full professor and founder of the Institute for Interdisciplinary Innovation in healthcare (I³h) at the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Belgium. From 2009 to 2014, he served as Executive Director of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI), the public-private partnership between the European Commission and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations. His current research topics include new models for drug pricing and vaccine hesitancy. As an immunologist, he was recognized as ISI Highly Cited Scientist for Scientific Information and shared the Lucien Steinberg Prize in 1992 with Pr. Peter Piot. He held in 2001 the Spinoza chair at the University of Amsterdam. In 2007, Michel Goldman was awarded the degree of Doctor Honoris Causa of the University of Lille.
