Melinda Mills

Melinda Mills Melinda Mills is Director of the Leverhulme Centre for Demographic Science and Nuffield Professor of Sociology at Nuffield College, University of Oxford, UK. In 2018 she was awarded Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the Queen’s birthday honours list and elected Fellow of the British Academy. She received her MA in Sociology at the University of Alberta, Canada, and PhD in Demography at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. She was the Principal Investigator of the ERC Consolidator grant SOCIOGENOME and now of the ERC Advanced Grant CHRONO. Her research is in the area of social behavioural responses to interventions and a social and molecular genetic approach to behavioural outcomes.
