At the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), Mattia Peretti manages Journalism AI, a joint initiative of Polis – journalism think-tank at the LSE – and the Google News Initiative. Journalism AI focuses on research and training to foster literacy in newsrooms about Artificial Intelligence (AI). Before joining the LSE, Mattia led the News Impact programmes at the European Journalism Centre (EJC), a combination of media innovation events, training workshops, and professional development initiatives for journalists across Europe.
