Laura Vandenbosch
Laura Vandenbosch is an associate professor (BOF-ZAP research professorship grant) and Director of the Media Psychology Lab. The relationship between media and well-being is the core subject of her research, leading to international publications in several fields including developmental psychology, sexology, body image, social relationships and communication theory.
According to scholar GPS, she is a Top Scholar given her outstanding performance and placed in the top 0.5% scholars working in the field of Adolescence. In 2024, she was also included in Stanford's global list of 2% scientist working in media and communication.
Over the last 5 years she worked on her ERC starting grant "Malleability in mediated ideals: A paradigm to understand effects of contemporary media in adolescents' well-being."
