José A. Gomez is an agricultural engineer at the Institute of Sustainable Agriculture (IAS) of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) where he researches soil management systems in agricultural areas. José specialises in surface hydrology and soil physics, with a focus on interdisciplinary collaboration for the sustainability of crops in the Mediterranean climate.
