Jero Ahola
Jero Ahola was born in Lappeenranta, Finland, in 1974. He received his M.Sc. and D.Sc. degrees in Electrical Engineering from LUT University, Lappeenranta, Finland, in 1999 and 2003, respectively. He currently works as a full professor (Energy efficiency in electrically driven systems) at the Department of Electrical Engineering at LUT. Jero Ahola is a representative of Finland (Alternative Exco & Task 1) in IEA Photovoltaic Power Systems Program. His current research interests include power-to-x processes, solar photovoltaics and energy efficiency in pump, fan, and compressor systems. At LUT, Jero has been heading the research projects SOLETAIR and NEO-CARBON FOOD, where fuels and food are made from air using renewable electricity.-
