Enny Das

Enny Das Professor Enny Das is a Professor of Communication and Persuasion and leads the Persuasive Communication Research Group of the Centre for Language Studies at Radboud University in Nijmegen, Netherlands. Her research examines the origins of individuals’ reluctance to accept risk information, the strategies to promote effective health communication, as well as the unconscious side effects of medical information. She is also interested in the role of the media in communicating health, such as how the media portrayed the H1N1 epidemic across Europe. Professor Das has obtained several national and international research grants (Dutch Research Council (NWO), Pink Ribbon, EU FP7) in the domains of persuasion and health communication, including the EU-funded project ECOM, and is a member of the Health Communication Division of the Netherlands Flanders Communication Association, and of the International Communication Association.
