Since ‘99 Prof. Dr. Ing. Dr. h.c. Dr. E.h. Bernd Friedrich has been the director of the Metallurgical Process Engineering and Metal Recycling at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen, a leading research centre for green metallurgy.
