On Wednesday 4 June from 18:30h until 20h CEST, the high-level STOA-G6 conference ‘Shaping Europe’s Future: Research and innovation at the heart of European leadership’ took place in the European Parliament’s library room in Brussels. You can watch the recording online.
The Summit, fully booked, brought together high-level representatives of the European Commission, the European Parliament and European research organisations, to explore how research and innovation can shape the architecture of Europe’s future competitiveness landscape.

- MEP Christian Ehler, STOA Chair, European Parliament
- MEP Lina Gálvez Muñoz, STOA Vice-Chair, European Parliament

- Antoine Petit, Chairman and CEO of the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS)
- Otmar Wiestler, President of the Helmholtz Association
- Patrick Cramer, President of the Max Planck Society
The European Parliament’s Panel for the Future of Science and Technology (STOA) has organised this event together with the G6, the informal grouping of the six biggest scientific research organisations of Europe.
